The announced We Were Here Tomorrow price is $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.99 for the base game. A 10% launch discount was announced, but the offer conditions differ by storefront. The US Steam and Xbox pages showed $17.99 on October 21, 2026; the US PlayStation page showed $17.99 with PlayStation Plus.
Plan for game access for both players. Tomorrow is an online co-op game for two people, and a Friend's Pass was not offered in the launch information. A discounted price for one copy is not a two-player package.
Base price and the October 21 US offers
| Purchase | Listed base price | Offer shown on October 21, 2026 | Offer condition or end date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steam base game, US | $19.99 | $17.99 | Introductory offer ends November 3 |
| PlayStation base game, US | $19.99 | $17.99 | PlayStation Plus offer; ends November 3, 2026 at 08:00 UTC |
| Xbox base game, US | $19.99 | $17.99 | Offer ends November 4, 2026 |
The euro and pound figures above are the announced base prices. They are not a verified current checkout total for every regional storefront. Select your own region and inspect the final price before paying, particularly if the two players are buying in different currencies.
The launch offers are time-limited. Do not assume that a screenshot of $17.99 remains current after the listed end date, and do not apply the PlayStation discount to a purchase that does not meet its membership condition.
Budgeting for two players
For two separately purchased US base-game copies at the listed regular price, the arithmetic is $39.98. If both copies independently qualify for a $17.99 offer, the combined listed game price is $35.98. These examples describe two purchases at the stated prices, rather than a special two-copy bundle.
If one player already has access to the game, you need to work out only the other player's access. If neither has it, compare the cost for the pair before choosing editions. Crossplay lets you use supported platforms you already have; it does not itself include a second game entitlement.
There is no reason to buy every older We Were Here game just to unlock Tomorrow. Tomorrow can be played as a standalone. A series bundle may suit someone who also wants the other games, but it is a different purchase decision from getting two people into this adventure.
Online-play costs sit beside the game price
PS5 requires PlayStation Plus for online play. The Xbox console listing requires an online multiplayer subscription, sold separately. Those conditions matter because Tomorrow requires a second player online; buying the game does not remove them.
The PlayStation Plus discount and PlayStation Plus online access are two separate reasons the membership appears on the product page. One changes an eligible purchase price. The other concerns access to online play. Check both rather than assuming that a sale price explains every requirement.
On Steam, the game requires an internet connection and working PC-compatible microphones for both players. A controller does not replace the microphone requirement. Verify that both people can use the game before making an edition choice based only on a small discount.
Base game, Fan Edition, and bundles

The comparison separates the game from the optional fan extras.
The Steam page lists a We Were Here Tomorrow: Fan Edition add-on and a Complete Fan Pack bundle. The Fan Edition is positioned as extra support for the studio and includes additional downloadable content and the official soundtrack. The soundtrack is also available separately.
On October 21, 2026, the US Steam page showed the Fan Edition add-on at $6.99, the separate soundtrack at $3.99, and the Complete Fan Pack at $22.98. Treat these as an October 21 US storefront snapshot. Bundle totals can differ from the price of the standalone game and should be checked in the cart.
Choose the base game when your immediate goal is to play Tomorrow. Choose a fan package only if you also want its listed extras. Do not mistake a soundtrack, an add-on, or a series bundle for a second copy for your partner.
A purchase check for the pair
Before paying, confirm the full title, platform, region, and whether the item is the base game or an add-on. Then have your partner check the same details for their purchase. Compare the two final game prices and account for any console online-play access either person still needs.
The important total is the amount needed to get both people ready to play. That can be different from the large sale price shown for a single product, especially when only one account qualifies for an offer or one console player needs a subscription.
